Springbok winger Sbu Nkosi has had a tumultuous career to date. From the highs of bursting onto the scene with the Boks to well-documented off-the-field issues, the 28-year-old World Cup winner is now facing a potential four-year ban for a failed drug test.
Testing positive for an anabolic steroid usually associated with bodybuilders, Nkosi is now waiting on the results of his ‘B Sample’ which if they match up with his ‘A Sample’ could see him join fellow Springboks Elton Jantjies, Aphiwe Dyantyi, Chilliboy Ralepelle in receiving long term bans.
The news comes as a major setback to the winger, who terminated his contract with the Bulls at the end of last season before subsequently joining the Cheetahs for the Currie Cup.
Following his departure from the Bulls, Nkosi sent out a cryptic Instagram post in which he appeared to take aim at his former side.

As of yet, Nkosi nor his representation have made a public announcement about the failed test.
